Kris Crunk is an award-winning composer, record producer, orchestrator, and music creator with more than 20 years of experience creating music for film, television, trailers, records, immersive live productions, and major commercial campaigns.

His work has earned a 2024 Emmy Award for the original song “Great New Day,” along with five Grammy nominations and three Dove Awards. Recent composing credits include the Predator: Badlands teaser trailer (Disney/Pitch Hammer), a featured song in the motion picture Greenland 2: Migration, and the original soundtrack for The Battle for Heaven and Earth, the novel by Jerry B. Jenkins and Mark M. Yarbrough, published by Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins.

Kris’s music has also been featured in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again, Deadliest Catch, Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, NFL Today, and Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, as well as a national ABC holiday campaign built around his trailer cue “A Deck the Halls Fantasy.”

His work in large-scale live entertainment includes orchestration, programming, co-arranging, and keyboard performance for Norwegian Cruise Line theatrical productions, including the flagship immersive production HIKO. He is currently contributing to Disney’s Ultimate Pixar Adventure, a new live production debuting in 2027.

Kris has composed more than 100 original works for Meta platforms, including Facebook and Oculus, and maintains a catalog of more than 2,000 original compositions spanning production music, television, film, trailers, commercial media, and concert works. He is exclusively signed with Blank Slate Music Group as a songwriter.

In 2025, Kris launched Mountclear Jazz on StowTown Records, a contemporary jazz project showcasing his work as a producer, arranger, composer, and keyboardist.

His artist collaborations include OneRepublic with the Colorado Symphony, Rascal Flatts, Lauren Daigle, Jordin Sparks, Stephanie J. Block, and many others. His choral compositions are published by Hal Leonard and Choristers Guild and have received multiple J.W. Pepper Editors’ Choice Awards.

Beyond the studio, Kris is a Professor of Music Technology at Union University, a SoundFlow app developer, an Avid Beta Team member, and co-owner of Boompak, a resource company serving elementary music educators.

At the heart of Kris’s life and work is his faith in Jesus Christ, his marriage of more than 20 years to his wife Lisa, and their children, Ethan and Emma. He is an active member of Living Word Fellowship.
