Kris Crunk is a multi-award-winning composer, record produce, orchestrator, and music creator with over 20 years crafting emotionally powerful music for film, television, trailers, immersive live productions, and major commercial campaigns.

He has earned a 2024 Emmy Award for the original song “Great New Day” (WDRB Louisville — also GEMA-nominated), five Grammy nominations, and two Dove Awards.

Recent composing credits include the Predator: Badlands teaser trailer (Disney/Pitch Hammer), a featured song in the motion picture Greenland 2: Migration, original scoring and placements on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, NFL Today, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman (Netflix), and a national ABC holiday campaign built around his trailer cue “A Deck the Halls Fantasy.”

Kris has contributed orchestration, programming, co-arranging, and keyboard performance to Norwegian Cruise Line’s large-scale theatrical productions, including the groundbreaking flagship immersive show HIKO. He has also composed over 100 original pieces for Meta platforms (Facebook/Oculus) and maintains a catalog of more than 2,000 original works, and is exclusively signed with Blank Slate Music Group as a songwriter.

He launched Mountclear Jazz in 2025 on StowTown Records - A smooth-jazz series that continues his passion for expression through music. 

He has collaborated with major artists including OneRepublic (with the Colorado Symphony), Rascal Flatts, Lauren Daigle, Jordin Sparks, Stephanie J. Block, and many others. His choral compositions are published by Hal Leonard and Choristers Guild and have earned multiple J.W. Pepper Editors’ Choice Awards.

A former Professor of Music Technology, a current SoundFlow app developer, and Avid Beta Team member, Kris is co-owner of Boompak, a resource company for elementary music educators.

At the heart of it all is his faith in Jesus Christ, his 20+ year marriage to Lisa, and their children Ethan and Emma. He is an active member of Living Word Fellowship.
